Tales from the Magiculum

Todd is excited to be performing an instalment of his Tales from the Magiculum show remotely for two great privately commissioned events on 18 December 2020.

This instalment is inspired by the amazing novel, The Alienist by Caleb Carr. Taking you on a journey back to the advent of psychological profiling and crime science, Todd conjures up his own alienist using the psychoanalytic theories of Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, and Hermann Rorschach, as well as a small dose of criminological statistics!

These analytical tools are used to solve a compelling murder mystery using the free choices and the collective unconscious of his remote audience. History, evidence, and magic all come together for several moments of astonishment, delivered with a tip of the hat to the antiquarian living inside us all!
