Magic in New York

After an afternoon visit to Harry Houdini's grave in Queens, Todd Landman was honoured to perform at the Parlour of Mystery in Long Island, New York. In a darkened theatre with 70 audience members, the Academic Magician performed a spiritualist themed show that involved channelling the lost souls of the Colney Hatch Mental Asylum in north London, invoked the psychometric powers of family heirlooms, and delved into the mysterious and seemingly innocent quotidian details of a young boy growing up in Leeds during World War II.
